Residents recognized for contributions to K-9 unit

Halle and George Fetty were recognized for their support of the Indio Police Department's K-9 unit during a retirement ceremony for "Indy," one the department's police dogs, on Jan. 17. Indio Police Department K-9 unit officer Jeremy Hellawell presented a plaque to Halle Fetty and George Fetty in honor of their contributions to the Department's K-9 unit

Last year, the Fettys donated $800 raised through a fundraiser they organized in support of the K-9 unit.
